Each participant receives a copy of the book\, Healthy Living with Chronic Pain. DESCRIPTION:Clements – February 2023 – EnhanceFitness\n\n\nMondays\, Wednesdays and Fridays\, February 1\, 3\, 6\, 8\, 10\, 13\, 15\, 17\, 22\, 24\, 27 from 8:30 – 9:30 AM\n \nNo class on Mon.\, February 20 (President’s Day) \nExercises are done seated and standing. \nEnhanceFitness® is developed specifically for older adults\, with exercises focusing on four key areas important to your health and fitness: stretching and flexibility; low impact aerobics; strength training; and balance. You can join us no matter what your level of fitness is now\, and we offer seated and standing exercise options. \nThis is no average fitness class! Classes are taught by a certified fitness instructor to ensure quality assurance and safety. Your fitness instructor will measure your starting point in several key areas of strength\, mobility and balance and continue to help you monitor your progress throughout your participation. The instructor will get to know you\, your individual goals and challenges\, and how to help you make the most of each class.  \nEnhanceFitness® is an evidence-based program with years of research backing it\, which means it is scientifically proven to: \n•	Improve strength and balance \n•	Increase flexibility \n•	Boost activity levels \n•	Improve mood \n•	Help prevent falls \nIn accordance with CDC guidelines\, masking at PCOA facilities is recommended and encouraged for staff\, volunteers\, and members of the public. Masks will be available if needed at our front desks. CDC recommends people at high risk of serious illness from COVID 19 discuss when they should wear masks and other precautions with their healthcare provider. PCOA representatives will gladly put on a mask at your request. For the time being\, food will not be permitted to be served indoors at our facilities. Participants at in-person event(s) will be expected to adhere to distancing and safety guidelines as provided. For small or large group settings where 6 feet of physical distance cannot be always maintained\, masks will be required. Guidelines for functions held in community sites not operated by PCOA may vary.
