This is an opportunity to view (and add to*) a community ofrenda in honor of deceased loved ones (as well as viewing mini ofrendas created and provided by the PCOA community)\, learn about the historical and cultural background of Dia de los Muertos\, and partake in a live discussion about the elements on ofrendas and why they are significant. You will also have the opportunity to honor the memory of departed loved ones by releasing a mariposa mensajera\, or butterfly messenger. \n5:30 pm to 5:45 pm- Arrive\, mingle\, tours \n5:45 pm to 6:15 pm- Presentation by cultural anthropologist Dr. Dianna Repp \n6:15 pm to 6:45 pm- Question and answer time\, time for testimonial sharing \n6:45 pm to 7:30 pm- Formal opening of the community ofrenda\, snacks and beverages  \n*Please limit photos to 4 x 6 in size so we can accommodate as many photos as possible.
