DESCRIPTION:June 2022 Enhance Fitness at Clements Regional Center\n\n\nAll classes meet each Monday\, Wednesday and Friday during the month at the designated time and are 60 minutes long.  Mondays\, Wednesdays and Fridays – June 1\, 3\, 6\, 8\, 10\, 13\, 15\, 17\, 20\, 22\, 24\, 27\, 29. \nExercises are done seated and standing. \nEnhanceFitness® is developed specifically for older adults\, with exercises focusing on four key areas important to your health and fitness: stretching and flexibility; low impact aerobics; strength training; and balance. You can join us no matter what your level of fitness is now\, and we offer seated and standing exercise options. \nThis is no average fitness class! Classes are taught by a certified fitness instructor to ensure quality assurance and safety. Your fitness instructor will measure your starting point in several key areas of strength\, mobility and balance and continue to help you monitor your progress throughout your participation. Country Club Road in Tucson. \nContribution Fee: $30 (covers your book & supplies)  \nA Matter of Balance is an evidence-based program for older adults who have fallen\, have a risk of falling and/or may be reducing their activities due to a fear of falling. Participants learn to view falls and the fear of falling as controllable; set realistic goals to increase activity; change their environment to reduce fall risk factors; and exercise to increase strength and balance.  \nIn accordance with CDC guidelines\, masking at PCOA facilities is recommended and encouraged for staff\, volunteers\, and members of the public. Masks will be available if needed at our front desks. CDC recommends people at high risk of serious illness from COVID 19 discuss when they should wear masks and other precautions with their healthcare provider.
