Overview:
We’ve heard it all before. Eat well; you are what you eat. Watch your calories – the Mediterranean diet, the DASH diet, cut out sugar, and ultra-processed foods – we hear it so often that it becomes like background noise! Well-intended advice coming from all directions can cause us to lose our motivation to act on what we know we “should” do.
This Nosh & Know session will take you into the “Why” these recommendations make sense for us by exploring the why behind how nutrition influences our bodies, physically and mentally. Sometimes knowing the “why” behind different recommendations can help us motivate ourselves to put them into action!
